Description

  • Crimson red wool coat made like a Russian soldier's uniform
  • Blue and gold patches on shoulders
  • V-neck, bullet pockets on chest
  • Bodice lined with striped cotton
  • Separate sword with ivory handle attaches to the uniform with a belt (missing) 

History of Use

  • Cossack had been a soldier in the Imperial Palace guard. 
  • Used to smuggle Charles Wallen out of  Russia in 1918 (at age 4).
